Mission Statement

- Our purpose is to provide public services to our residents and businesses within our community, while preserving and enhancing the City of Janesville.  Janesville will be the place where people work, live and conduct business.  We have open communication to encourage community involvement.  We focus on excellent customer service by striving to do the right thing.  We will provide excellent recreational amenities offering a full range of programs to people of all ages and abilities.  We will support responsible community development and balancing individual property rights.  We will initiate programs and policies to meet the needs of our residents.
