Janesville Cemetery

Janesville Cemetery is owned and operated by the City of Janesville and is under the direct supervision of the City Council and Public Works Director.

It is the aim of the City of Janesville to make the cemetery a quiet and beautiful cemetery.   
To continue improvement and to preserve the appearance of the cemetery requires the cooperation of all grave owners.

History
Janesville Cemetery Association transferred ownership to the City of Janesville September 12, 1988, by City Council resolution.  The plat of the cemetery filed with the county recorder in Waseca County, Minnesota, is adopted as the official plat of the cemetery.  City Code Chapter 58: Janesville Cemetery became part of the Code of Ordinances on June 11, 2018.
